Dr. Janie Hodges, DVM

Dr. Janie Hodges is a 1990 graduate from Texas A&M University of Veterinary Medicine.
She was in private practice in Arlington for 6 years before opening Valley View Pet Health Center in 1997. Dr.
Hodges has worked with the animal show that used to perform at Six Flags and has also worked with the Frank Buck Zoo in Gainesville,
Texas. She serves on the Professional Pathways Advisory Board for the Carrollton - Farmers Branch ISD and is also on
the board of directors for the Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce. She shares her home with her two boys...a Boxer named
Ebbitt and a rather large male cat named Sweet Cheeks.
Dr. David Landers, DVM

Dr. David Landers, DVM
Dr. David Landers is a 2003 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.He practiced in Fort Worth
for 3 years following graduation before coming to the N. Dallas area.
Dr. Landers has a special interest in feline medicine and exotic animal medicine including a large number of species from
birds, small mammals, and reptiles, to primates, large cats, and occasionally hoofstock like zebra and camels. He currently
serves as chair of the Disaster Preparedness Committee for the TVMA and is a member of the Texas State Guard Medical Reserve
Corps. He shares his home with his wife Kristin, his 2 year old son Ethan, cats Clay and Rabi, and dogs Sadie, Cori, and
Nigel.

"Auntie" Heidi
Heidi is our office manager and has been with us since June 2004. She has AAS
degrees in Small Business Management and Veterinary Technology. After 13 years in the corporate world, Heidi left
that world to attend school at Argosy University in Minneapolis, MN, for her Veterinary Technology degree and became
a Certified Veterinary Technician, with additional certification in Aquatics, Zoology, Exotics and Wildlife. She
grew up in northern Minnesota, and moved to Farmers Branch in 2003. Heidi and her husband Scott share their home with
their furry children, Jake, Brutus, Penelope (dogs), Louie (cat), and Pipkin (rabbit).
"Auntie" Pam
Pam is a current vet tech student. After 15 years in the retail world, she
joined the VVPHC family in May '07. She is studying in the Veterinary Technology program at Cedar Valley College in
Lancaster. Pam has earned certificates as a voice major at Richland College, and as a culinary arts major in the hotel
and restaurant management program at El Centro College. Pam grew up in
Chicago and has lived in Santa Fe, NM and Dallas (twice!). Our resident water conservationist and avid recycler, she
now makes her home in the Lower Greenville area with her two Lab mix "daughters," Molly and Natasha and yellow Lab "son,"
Buddy and a black tomcat named Cole.
"Auntie" Montana
Montana is a north Texas native, married to John IV and mother to John V. She has an awesome floppy-eared Boxer
boy named Braddock. Other members of her menagerie inclue a green iguana, pacific parakeet, and two Russian tortoises.
Montana is currently pursuing an undergrad degree in biology with an emphasis in veterinary medicine.
"Auntie" Stacy
Stacy has been a client of VVPHC since early 1998, and came on staff March, 2001. She now works only on Saturdays and
teaches preschool during the week. She shares her home with her dog Bailey, and her two cats, Annie and Hannah.
"Auntie" Cecily
Cecily graduated from RL Turner and has had pets almost her entire life. She has loved animals ever since she got
her first pet. She has had about five dogs during her life and has even helped raise litters of kittens. She currently
has a Miniature Dachshund named Sissy. Cecily has been with VVPHC since August, '07, and loves working here. She
says, "It is so much fun and everyone that works here is great!" Cecily was employed here through Work Ready,
which helps people with disabilites find work and helps them succeed at their job.
